The system design provides the right type of mixing energy at the critical moment of initial wetting and tapers that energy through a multi-stage regime of hydrating zones. The net result is a fully hydrated polymer solution with maximum charge site exposure which assures optimized polymer usage and performance. This design gives you optimum performance by eliminating unwanted agglomerations, plugging and the costly mess of dealing with these issues.
Many Polymer feed and control stations are complicated and prone to frequent plugging and agglomerations. The Tempest’s system is simple, yet highly intelligent, with the ability to provide just the right mixing energy—manually or automatically—at just the right times through the hydration process. Also, like many of our solutions, The Tempest has flexible controls and its pump configurations can be adapted to fit other uses.

The Power of Data
Throughout the dilution process, water flow rate date is measured and fed back to the Tempest’s primary controller. It calculates, then adjusts the polymer pump for an ideal dilution rate. When problems like water flow loss, high/low concentrations, etc. arise, an alarm sounds and remedial measures can be made on the spot.

A Plug N’ Play Solution
We understand that downtime is the bane of every manufacturing process. The EZDose platform was created to solve these situations, offering a highly flexible, pre-plumbed system allowing pumps to be added on-site or pre-installed and tested prior to delivery. This approach speeds up the install process without compromising the reliability of the system or its ability to operate in a wide range of water treatment applications.
Flexible and Ready to Grow
Building upon the simplicity of the EZDose platform, we provide highly customized configurations that allow feed verification, automatic switchover and on-board controller or timer packages to be added. The EZDose comes in either a simplex or duplex pump arrangement with flexibility on terminal boxes and control panels as well. Like many of our other products, we provide installation and start up, too.
The Switcheroo is our proprietary automatic pump switch-over that provides a very simple, economical way to add reliability to any chemical feed application. The Switcheroo is designed to detect primary pump flow loss and automatically activate a secondary pump. An alarm output is also triggered when the switchover occurs. The most common configuration is to use the Switcheroo with two pumps and a flow verification device for the primary pump.
Various devices may be connected to the pump to generate the signals. The Switcheroo is contained in a NEMA 4X wall mount enclosure and can accept any 4-20mA signal. The set up could not be easier.
The EquipConnect is a wireless cellular remote alarm and notification service that uses built in two-way deep building penetration telemetry technology to provide alarm autodialing, remote monitoring, data logging and reporting without the need for telephone or internet lines. It can be wired easily into a controller, PLC, process analyzer or used as a stand-alone device to monitor independent environment sensors.
We also offer an M-Module EquipConnect which uses built in cellular internet routing technology to provide any Ethernet-ready equipment and most serial-ready equipment its own connection to the internet without the need for telephone or LAN lines.
